Christmas is here !

I love every holiday there is, because I love decorating my apartment according to it.

And I also love sparkly stuff, so really Christmas is one of the best for me.

Plus : you get gifts. I looove gifts. 

Here's some pictures of how I decided to decorate my apartment, I found a very cheap shop near where I live that sells lots of cute things, from candles and makeup to peanut butter, and everything around 2-3 € ! That's my kind of shop 👍
It's called Hema for those who are interested (no this post isn't sponsored at all don't worry goddammit), and for those who aren't, here are the pictures :

I finally learned how to make paper snowflakes, and pasted some on the windows :

I bought some lights and some golden stars, and put them together. It makes the place look so cosy and warm ! 💛 :

This is a Christmas wreath I made (is it called that ?) cutting some drawings and hanging them on a thread, it's really simple but yet cute :3 :

And on the window again, I tied the curtains with a sparkly ribbon and a matte golden star :

On my coffee table, I made a kind of Christmas themed "altar" (no I don't pray for Santa I'm not that desperate).
Have you noticed that fake Rudolph? I literally just pasted a red paper dot on the nose of a Yakuru plush (the weird reindeer from Princess Mononoke !) :

Yea that little tree is my Christmas tree, in my apartment I don't have space for a real one :(

 And that's pretty much it ! I always try to put some DIY into my decoration, first of course because I like it, you can make things look like you want, and second because it's waaaay cheaper than buying everything.

Pusheen haul

I love cute stuff, and of course I love Pusheen, who wouldn't love that cute chubby cat ? :3 So, here's my Pusheen haul ! 

I know it's not that big of a haul, but i'm poor alright. Let's begin with the whole picture :

This lovely pencil case (that's how I use it at least), my boyfriend said it looked like a taco and I guess I have to agree with him. But it's a really cute taco 💖:

And that's the pouch where all the writing stuff was, I use it as a coloured pencil case cause it's surprisingly solid and you can even close it ! :

And I just realised I forgot to add on the whole picture this fabulous notebook that came in the pouch  :

So that's all I got, I'm delighted to have all this cute stuff, so I can make my studying time more enjoyable :D

Recycling #1

Ever thought that sometimes, throwing away the wrapping of the things you bought was kind of a waste ? No problem, here's a very simple tip to reuse those empty boxes : cover them with beautiful paper or fabric !
It's easy to do, you just need a glue gun to put a bit of glue all along the four borders of the box, and then wrap the fabric around it. Then you can cut the excess of fabric, or fold it under the box and glue it to cover it entirely.

Et voilà !

I used the exterior part from the box of an apple charger

I folded the excess of fabric under the bottom of the box, so it covers the hole

There it is ! Now i can tidy every paper or letter I don't know where to put on my desk :)

Chocolate hearts.

These are the chocolates I made for my boyfriend on valentine's day !
I agree that this celebration is one of the most commercialized ones you can find, they want you to buy nice presents, and roses, and pink candles, and go to a fancy restaurant... etc.
But I think it's still a great occasion to simply celebrate a mutual love, and genuinely note that you are happy together. You don't have to do as the media say, indeed me and my boyfriend were kind of sick this day so we just stayed all cosy at home and played video games together, and then we went to watch a movie (Jupiter Ascending, not as shitty as we thought it would be, but the characters were empty and stupid - still fun to watch tho -).

I combined two recipes to make those chocolates. I kept all the base from the first one, that I found on this website via Pinterest (in french), and used this one for the sugar toppings.

If you don't speak french you can use the second one, it's great too :)

I also made a cute box to put the chocolate inside. I used origami paper to decorate it (I bought a solid little cardboard box), and pasted it with this all-surfaces glue and a paintbrush.

He ate almost all of them so fast, I should have taken a picture earlier !
